We and several other families in our ward have begun or are about to begin home schooling of some or all of our children. I think there are many reasons to do this (or not do it) and much seems to depend on the family and the child involved. I would like to find out if there are other Church members doing or considering home schooling, what have been your successes, trials, what types of materials and sources have you used for curriculum etc.? What is the best software you have found to use in home teaching? Do you find your ward and the local leaders to be supportive?

Yes, I did pull off that reply already. I remembered that Allen was into home schooling way back so I was in here this morning looking around. Now I wonder if there is a more local organization for LDS home schoolers. rich | |||||

If you are not aware, there is a home schooling conference. You can get it from: 501CLB::HOME_SCHOOLING |
