I haven't contributed much to this conference but have sure enjoyed reading
the various notes and appreciate the research and comments that many
of you have put in.

Seems like a good time to comment and wish you all a very merry Christmas
from the great northwest.

I am reminded that there are a lot of folks that are depressed at
this time of year. For many, this is because of the passing of
loved ones with whom they were accustomed to celebrating the season.
Of all messages, the message that we can live again and be reunited
with our loved ones because of Jesus Christ, our Savior, is very
comforting and is cause for celebration.

souls. Help me to be more aware of opportunities to be a
helpful influence in the lives of all whom I come into
contact with in this experience. May this spirit of Love
charity and helpfulness remain with me, not just during thit
    	holiday season, but evermore.

May I bask in the everlasting Sunshine of your constant Love.

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to
all.

This has been an incredible year. 1989 will be remembered as one of the
pivotal years of the 20th century.

In the events of this year we can all see the hand of the Lord softening
the hearts of men, that all His children may hear the Gospel Message.

Thanks be to God for His continuing love and concern, despite that we are
so unworthy at times.

And thanks be to his Son, Jesus Christ, for coming into a world stained by
blood and sin, that these may be overcome, and that we may rejoin Our
Father one day in Heaven.

All of us.

Love,
/kevin

I'm looking forward to the two days off work at Christmas and the two days
at the New Year. I'm planning on forgetting all about work and my other
"projects" that consume my time and concentrating on my family, our friends,
and my relationship with God.

I'm grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and for his love for us. I'm
grateful to Joseph and Mary for teaching him and providing a positive home
for him during his youth. I'm grateful to our Father in Heaven for His love
in sending Jesus. I pray that I may really gain the true spirit of Christmas
during the next couple of weeks.

May the Lord bless all of you!

Love,

Allen

I remember, a long time ago, I was on leave to visit my family in
Pittsburgh on Christmas eve. I was in the Boston airport, part of a long
line of impatient people at the TWA counter, waiting to get checked in.
When I reached the counter, everything was in order. As I left, I said
'Merry Christmas' with a smile to the harried attendant who had
processed my papers. I thought it was a small thing.

She stared at me for a while, with an unblinking gaze that I will never
forget. As I turned away, I clearly heard her say to another person
behind the counter, "That's the first person I heard say `Merry
Christmas' all night."

The cynical response from her fellow worker was 'Yeah, but he had a
ticket."

I thought for a long while that I had done something good for the Marine
Corps uniform I wore. I did. But now I realize I also did something good
for that person behind the counter who was only doing her job.

Why do we have to make things so hard on each other? Why don't we
realize that small things make a huge difference?

Merry Christmas everyone. And may God continue to bless us.

/kevin
