4202.0. "oa$site_dev logicals incorrectly defined..." by TAV02::CHAIM (Semper ubi Sub ubi .....) Wed May 25 1994 15:48

ALL-IN-1 V3.0-1

At a customer site the oa$site_dev_share and oa$site_dev_llv logicals are not
being defined correctly. The information in A1CONFIG.DAT is correct.

I have looked in a1v30start.com and I see where symbols oa$sdev_share and
oa$sdev_llv are defined. Using SET VER these sysmbols are apparently being set
properly.

What I don't seem to see is what the startup does with these symbols once they
are set. I don't see where the actual oa$site_dev_share/llv logicals are
defined.

Thanks,

Cb.

    The logicals are defined in the dataset CM$AUTH$LOCATIONS, accessible
    via AM MAL
