Does anyone know where some system sizing data might exist for ALL-IN-1 users? My customer wants to know approximately how many users that their VAX 7620 might support. Then, how many additional users if they upgrade to an Alpha processor. Any pointers appreciated. Thanks, Brad

The official number of active VT users on a VAX7620 with 512MB is 624 users. If they were all TeamLinks V2.0 users this increases to 936 active with half the memory requirement. Get hold of Marc Slater's latest report as posted before this reply for a table covering nine CPUs. They are still testing ALL-IN-1 AXP so are not able to give figures just yet for the DEC boxes or Sable. Regards, Dave |
