After the upgrade from hell, the customer understood that the assets package Resource schedular would not work any more. Now, they want it back or they want to buy whatever the current recomended package is that replaces RS. Is RS forever broke and unsupported? What do we (digital) recomend? Dave

Well the definition of an ASSETS package is that it is a SWS project delivered and customized to the site's needs for a certain amount of cash. Pick up the cash due to Digital and propose the upgrade of the ASSETS package as a local office project. Be sure to do the funct spec, needs anal, project anal, doc plan, everything. If you succeed, keep the rights to the package and allow others to resell. Also look into the yet to be supported by Digital, but promised Russell Calendar Manager. | |||||

Dave, RS is still available from the ASSETS group and works on V3.0. It comes without support from the CSC though and with the dearth of ALL-IN-1 expertise in the U.S is unlikely to be upgraded to work on V3.1 - wish i understood Randy's reply in .1 (:==:) Regards, Andrew.D.Wicks |
