4128.0. "remove CDA" by MSAM03::SOWWAN () Tue May 03 1994 13:33

    Hi,
    	Just a question.
    	Is it possible to remove CDA from the system ? How ?
    	I have deassigned the CDA$LIBRARY logical, deleted sys$library:CDA* and
    purged the CDA$ACCESS.EXE image, yet when I relinked ALL-IN-1, CDA is
    still integrated in my ALL-IN-1.
    	Any suggestions ?

    Regards,
    Sow Wan

4128.1Update Install?AIMTEC::WICKS_AAtlanta's Most (In)famous WelshmanTue May 03 1994 17:339
    sow wan,

    not heard of anyone trying to do this but to add CDA you need to do
    an Update Install as opposed to just a relink so maybe you have to do
    the same to take it off.

    Sow Wan,

    >purged the CDA$ACCESS.EXE image, yet when I relinked ALL-IN-1, CDA

    purged ? I think you have to rename or delete the thing.

    To get the definitive answer, I suggest you look through
    OA$BUILD:A1LINK.COM and A1LNKDRV.COM and see what it is we are checking
    for.

4128.4Check no A1$ logicalIOSG::SHOVEDave Shove -- REO2-G/M6Fri May 06 1994 18:066
    Make sure you have no logical A1$ defined in process, job, or system
    tables!

    This has bitten me before.
