ALL-IN-1 V3.0A, MR V3.3, OA$DDS_PRIME = 2 A customer has an intermittent problem where paper mail is being returned from DDS as the remote address for subscribers. This behavious is as though the subscribers do not have a reverse lookup in DDS - when they have. It has happened twice to a different user each time and was cleard by exiting ALL-IN-1 or EM. Summary 1. User is creating a message and adding an address from DDS e.g SMITH {CR} 2. The address is found in DDS but an invalid paper mail address is returned. e.g. John Smith (PAPER MAIL) 3. All other address's from DDS demonstrate the same behaviour. 4. User exits/reenters EM or ALL-IN-1. 5. Address can be found correctly. e.g. John Smith (SMITH@A1@VAXA) Any ideas. Thanks Aston UK CSC

aston, sounds like someone was playing with DDS beneath the feet of ALL-IN-1 remember ALL-IN-1 makes its link with DDS when it authenticates and keeps on using the ids given to it when it starts up for the rest of eternity or until the user logs out or the system is shutdown. regards, Andrew.D.Wicks |
