| hello,
Customer want to be called WPS-PLUS editor in cobol like other editors
(edit, tpu).
They are using ALL-IN-1 2.4 and developing MIS application.
They are using wps-plus as editor, so they can't change it to other editor.
They need this function for MIS application.
If WPS-PLUS/VMS is installed, is it possible to call ?.
I need your advice.

4077.3 | No callable interface | IOSG::NEWLAND | Richard Newland, IOSG, REO2-G/L2 | Tue Apr 19 1994 18:17 | 10 |

WPS-PLUS does not provide a code level callable interface. The
WPS-PLUS editor can be called from an ALL-IN-1 application.
The WPS-PLUS/VMS product provides a stand alone editor that can be
invoked from DCL. It may be possible to invoke this from a program by
spawning a sub-process.

Why do you say "can't"? It should be possible to redefine the default editor
to EDT or TPU before calling the Edit function from the program.
If you mean they really WANT WPS-Plus, then ok.
