ALL-IN-1 V3.0 As I have not got an HPDJ500 I have been unable to clarify the customer's problem. They are trying to print from WPS-PLUS in ALL-IN-1 V3.0. They are using the HPDJ500 Printer Table snd print a very simple document. It contains a control block to change the font to 12 POINT ROMAN and then it has three lines of text of which certain words or group of words are underlined and bolded. It reads fine or prints to screen fine but when it is printed the underline is off and slightly shorter than it should be. If the text is not bolded then the underline is correct. Can anyone verify this? Their Printer Table has not been altered from the one provided by the ALL-IN-1 kit! Thanks in advance, Richard Simpson.

4068.1 | Formatter problem? Try WPS-PLUS conference | IOSG::MARSHALL | A glitch in reality | Mon Apr 11 1994 18:25 | 7 |
It sounds like the position and size of the underline is being calcualted based on normal character sizes; bold characters are slightly wider hence the underline is wrong. Assuming the printer is doing the right thing, it sounds like a problem with the WPS-PLUS formatter, which you'll have to take to the WPS-PLUS conference. Scott |
