A Customer wants to transfer approximately 80 users from one Active ALL-IN-1 system to another. My questions are: 1. Approximately how long does it take to do a user with around 1000 documents using ALL-IN-1's Transfer User Option? 2. Can more than one account be transfererred at a time? 3. Is it better to do it with ALL-IN-1 2.4 or should we upgrade to 3.0 prior to transferring? 4. Can the Group Functionality, provided with Version 3.0, speed up this process in any way. Thanks alot, Mike Trotti Burlington, Canada

Hi Mike, >3. Is it better to do it with ALL-IN-1 2.4 or should we upgrade to 3.0 >prior to transferring? >4. Can the Group Functionality, provided with Version 3.0, speed up >this process in any way. Version 3.0 has improved the transfer user option, in that if the transfer option fails the users account is not affected. Unlike 2.4 where number of problems were reported, such as customer attempting to run the transfer user option a number of times. This created a number of problems when trying to unarchive an archived account. Due to the failure of the transfer user option the user account could not be accessed. Purely from the point of view of having the transfer user option that is more robust and reliable I would opt for 3.0. Transfers do take time and the time taken depends on a number of factors.
