3996.0. "Four FCS per node!" by GIDDAY::JOYCE (Burn me kangaroo down sport) Thu Mar 17 1994 07:42

    A customer has a large number (they say) of Teamlinks V2 users connecting
    to IOS. They access on average (wait for it) 50 to 60 drawers EACH (and
    own about 10). Some users access up to 100 drawers!

    To beat the CHANNELCNT restriction (they say) they are using four File
    Cab servers on each node of their cluster. They lead me to believe
    that they have tuned these servers correctly but I haven't been able to
    check yet.

    They say that ONCE a FCS process "locked up" and that their server log
    is full of errors. It is, and most of the errors are new to me.

    The log file is RIPPER::USER$TSC:[JOYCE.PUBLIC]Q31329.LOG;1

    Could some FCS guru have a look and give me a clue what's going on?

    Thanks,
