Hi all, I have a customer using ALL-IN-1 V3.0. After he did some housekeeping jobs (like empty wastebasket) some user reported they have problem using WP. There are three cases happened: 1. Some user tried to invoke WP but got hanged 2. Some user can invoke and use WP, but hanged when exit 3. Some user got the message "Drawer currently being accessed by other users" and the drawer name didn't appear. ALL-IN-1's manager account hit this case too. I suggest them to shutdown ALL-IN-1 and they agreed to do at night. But I'm not sure if this work or not. Some colleague suggest to run OA$LIB_ENGLISH:A1$POSTINSTALL.COM, but I think this doesn't help much. Any idea on the problem and can give a workaround, or point me to the appropiate note? Thanks and regards, Mickwid.

Hi Mickwid. > I have a customer using ALL-IN-1 V3.0. After he did some housekeeping jobs (like > empty wastebasket) some user reported they have problem using WP. - Have you take a look at the housekeeping logfiles ? - What do you mean with WP ? Is this WordPerfect or just WPS-PLUS - Is the filecabinet server up and running ? > I suggest them to shutdown ALL-IN-1 and they agreed to do at night. But I'm not > sure if this work or not. Some colleague suggest to run > OA$LIB_ENGLISH:A1$POSTINSTALL.COM, but I think this doesn't help much. Running OA$LIB_ENGLISH:A1$POSTINSTALL.COM is only needed when you encounter errors during the automatic poststallation procedure. Shutdown of ALL-IN-1 will probaly not solve the problem. Shutdown just makes ALL-IN-1 not available to the users. If everything just worked fine before you ran the Housekeeping procedures, looking at the logfiles would be a good point for starting your investigations. Regards, Martin |
