3905.0. "printer name changes on document destination field" by DELNI::STACK (Knick-Knack-Pattie-Stack) Mon Feb 21 1994 15:56

(also posted in the A1-TOOLKIT conference)

Last week we upgraded ALL-IN-1 to V3.0A, upgraded SYSTIDY and SYSUSER,
    and installed TCP V2.0.

Coincidently, users have been seeing their printer names change on the
document destination field. This is happing to an entire group of
users who share the same printers. For the majority of the day the
printer field will remain with the value the user has specified -
then the document destination field will change when they attempt to
print one mail message - and the next will print back at the original
    destination.

All users are on DEC PC's running Excursion to get to their ALL-IN-1
accounts. Some run Teamlinks from home - some don't run Teamlinks at
    all.

Oddly enough, when the printer field changes - it always changes to a
    printer within the group area.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi,

There has been a recent problem reported which turned out to be a
problem with the Time Management Set Owner function. Are your users
    using that function?

    Cheers

I just received the patch from Martin Cook @REO that does resolve this
problem. Send him mail and he can get it to you.
