A customer has described the following problem:
When he closes an archive area and wants to transfer the area to a tape he has
noticed that:
1. VMS backup/verfify is used
2. As each document is verified it is deleted from the disk
The entire process takes a very long time (4000 docments can take up to 10
hours). If something happens to the process during the transfer, then he is
left in an impossible situation; the transfer to tape didn't complete, and he
can't issue it again since all the verified documentshave been deleted.
