Hello and greetings. How stable is the document number assigned/generated by ALL-IN-1 IOS for it's documents? We have a customer who is interested in having Teamlinks users access IOS documents by number. FCO etc do not seem to modify the document numbers - is there anything that does? Thanks & regards, Chele

Hi, Of course they're stable! The known gotcha is that they can get reused. If create a new document it gets the next highest document number. If you then delete it (and empty the Wastebasket) and then create another new document then it will get the same number as the previous one. This is because it calculates the next document number to use by adding 1 to the highest existing document number. HTH Stuart | |||||

This only applies within a single drawer yes? If you RFD within a drawer, the number is kept. If you move drawers the doc acquires the highest number in the new drawer. g |
