Hello and greetings,

Customer running ALL-IN-1 V3.0 (British-ish :^))
They are using Gestetner printers, and are using a table they wrote themselves 
(which can be found at MSOTIS::DKA300:[BURT.PUBLIC.ALL-IN-1]GLX.LSA)

They have found that they are unable to do SOME print functions to this device,
using this table. Ordinary EMs, WP documents etc are fine, but only a couple 
of lines are produced when they try to Print Index, Print Scratch Pad, Print 
Distribution Lists, or Print from Time Management.

ALLIN1/NOCUSTOM makes no difference. Printing to terminal is fine, as is 
printing to document. Printing to gestetner using the LP11 table is OK.

The current workaround is to send all to the scratch pad, file the scratch 
pad, then print. Which works - but is tedious.

Any hints on where to start looking would be appreciated.

    the files which don't print correctly are ASCII Files usually generated
    by ALL-IN-1's MERGE function. By default ASCII-files (as opposed to
    WPS-PLUS files) will not be formatted by the WPS-PLUS formatter.
    As only the WPS-PLUS formatter uses the printertables, your ASCII files
    will NOT be formatted by utilizing the GESTETNER printer tables.
    
    Workaround (or solution):
    
    Change the WPS-PLUS formatting field from "N" to "Y" for the ASCII EDT
    format (FORM FORMAT)
