3807.0. "ALL-IN-1 v3.0 - Error = NO TAG " by LISVAX::SEPULVEDA (The Sunshine People) Tue Jan 25 1994 11:46

    Hi All,

We have a customer with ALL-IN-1 v3.0 (no MUPA instal.)
When they give full MAIL access to another user, this other user is
able to Create/Save mail when acting as the first user BUT he is unable
    to SEND the mail created.

The mail remains with Status RESERVED and the text of the messages is
    not stored anywhere.

    The error given is:
    %OA-E-NOGETTAG ... translated text ... filename
    -RMS-E-FNF, file not found.

and in fact there is no such message saved in VMS (only the header)
    Delete the message is OK.

The only thing is that the device is:
    $sh log DISK$A1EXE
    	"DISK$A1EXE"="DIA3"
    1	"DIA3"="DSSI3$DIA3:"

    Any help?
The user is able to Share Drawers without any problem...

Thank you all for all your help.
    Best Regards
    Ana

    Sorry, forgot to say that:

the users are on different devices:

    2nd user dev:
    $SH LOG DISK$A1USR4
    	"DISK$A1USR4"="DIA1"
    1	"DIA1"="DSSI1$DIA1:"

Also , normal mail messages have no problems.
Only when they act as someone else 's mail...

    Thanks a lot,
    Best Regards
    Ana

3807.2Missing WPSDEF.WPL could be the cause of the prob.GIDDAY::SETHIOh what a feeling .....Wed Jan 26 1994 23:239
    G'day Ana,

Have you checked to see if the WPSDEF.WPL is present in the
sub-directory the message is being created in ? If it's missing than
this may well be the cause of the problem.

    Regards,

    Hello,

    Thank you for your replies.

The customer has now installed the MUPA but the problem remained.

We saw however, that this was due to VMS file protections:
The users must have their top dir. [GISELA] with W:E which was not the
case. I saw this mentioned somewhere but I can't remember where now...

Thank you anyway for all the help.
    Best Regards
    Ana
