Hi,
I am now in the process of installing ALL-IN-1 v3.0, but the installation
has failed with the error message (lots of them)
%LINK-W-MULDEF, symbol VAXC$GETNETBYNAME multiply defined
in module VAXCRTL file RFDRV0$DIA0:[SYS0.SYSUPD.A1030]OAVAXCRTL.OBJ;1
At the end of the many multiply defined messages, there is this one other
message...
%LINK-E-OUTSIMG, attempted store location %X00000974 is outside image binary (%X
00000000 to %X00000000)
in psect _CTYPE_ module C$CTYPE file SYS$COMMON:[SYSLIB]VAXCRTL.OLB;2
-LINK-E-NOIMGFIL, image file not created
The multiply defined occurs in the following object file..
OAMTHRTL.OBJ, OAFORRTL.OBJ, OASMGSHR.OBJ, and OAVAXCRTL.OBJ.
Anyone know what's the problem?
The log file of the installation is at BTMV01::INSTALL_A1030.LOG if needed.

do you have DEC NOTES v2.5 installed on your system? if so this has
been discussed before (3531.0) and is in a near brilliant STARS article
entitled
[ALL-IN-1] DEC Notes V2.5 Does Not Link With ALL-IN-1 V2.4 & V3.0
it's too long to post here so please call your local CSC and ask for
the article.
