3760.0. "Automatic Post Processing?" by ANGLIN::HARRISA (lost in the jungle of doubt) Fri Jan 14 1994 15:29

    ALL-IN-1 3.0-1 VMS 5.4-3

    customer has an application with 2 entry forms. the first one (A) has
    this in ND:

    ;;.TYPE;;

    ENTRY /MODE=INQUIRE/KEY=USER/GET=PH_CNT,#OAX$PM_COUNT/PRE="DO
    ITD$PM:ITD_PM_CNT"
    /DATA=DIR_3M
    .
    .
    ;;.F9;;

    FORM ANN_PMEMO_CLEAR /MODE=ADD /ONCE
    /SAVE="$ITD_PHONE_USER,OA$DATE_NBS:14:2"
    /PRE='GET #CLEAR_DATETIME=OA$DATE_FULL " " OA$TIME " CTZ"'
    /POST='DO SAVE_CALL_CTRS'

    the 2nd one (B) has this in ND:

    ;;.TYPE;;

    ENTRY /KEY=TO,DATETIME/MODE=UPDATE/OVERLAY/BEGIN=TO
    /SAVE_START="*PM_ARCHIVE.TO[#PM_KEY],*PM_ARCHIVE.DATETIME[#PM_KEY]"

    what happens is when a user is on form A and they hit F9, it brings up
    form B. the user than hits return and form B is processed. there is no
    need for the user to enter any data onto form B.

    what they want is to NOT have to hit the return key after hittinf F9.

    is this possible?
