3750.0. "post MUPA, TM EV Edit doesn't work" by GVPROD::JORHAT::BOWERS (It always rains in Geneva) Tue Jan 11 1994 16:45

Ever since we upgraded to (patched) MUPA (last Wednesday) we cannot edit
Events via Set Owner, error message is "No privilege to perform operation"
however, creates and deletes are fine.

Has anyone seen this before ?

Thanks and regards
Hilary

This is a change in functionality introduced by MUPA. If you try and
edit events via Set Owner in V3.0 it wouldn't work. The attendees will
not get their calendar updated so we put this error message in instead.

To get it to work for real you need to have SO and SMU (that's why we
    say insufficient priv).

If you want more information on this contact the ALL-IN-1 Support
Manager Martin Cook, I believe that they are working on a patch which
will fix this problem properly and allow you to edit with just SO.

    HTH.

    Hilary,

I believe that this "awful" error message also appears when using the AA
option - our DPC has already started a STARS article on the topic
[ALL-IN-1] FASTD: TM - Version 3.0A Undocumented Restrictions.

My customer has reported this problem, and reference was made to a
patch being in the process of getting done. Am I missing something
in the IOSG_PATCH_CHART? I didn't see any fix for this there.

The possible future ICF has not yet been certified ready for Release.
If and when any patch has been released then the patch chart will be
