3747.0. "Lotus/ALL-IN-1 /Print File problem" by COPCLU::ELIN (Elin Christensen @DMO, DTN 857-2406) Tue Jan 11 1994 14:50
This has also been posted in MRKTNG::LOTUS, but I think that people
with ALL-IN-1 experience will be able to help me better than the Lotus
people.
Lotus 1-2-3 for ALL-IN-1 v1.5 US version,
ALL-IN-1 IOS v3.0-1 & v3.0A Danish version
It is not possible to print a spreadsheet to an ASCII file.
When doing /Print File and entering form L123A1_PRINT_DOC_ARG, "Print
to ASCII document", drawer and folder are filled with the current
drawer and folder name. The title field is empty, and the type is
DOCUMENT.
I enter a title and press return, but the type is not recognized, and I
get the message "No item satisfied the search criteria"
I have tried emptying the Type field and pressing GOLD L, but I still
get the same message: "No item satisfied the search criteria".
Has anybody else experienced this?
Named data for the TYPE field (for those who can read it):
;;TYPE;;
/hard=oa$_l123_a1_menu_mnu_t

xop "~~verify_type~~" \
.if #test_sel nes "" then oa$val_set_valid else xop "~~recog_type~~"
;;~~VERIFY_ATYPE~~;;
for l123a1_filetype_tbl with .filetype eqs #test_type do get

get cli$l123a1_formtype_val2 = "" \oa$fld_done
When entering form L123A1_FILETYPE_TBL and doing a Search in the key
field, these types appear:
1 123 BAK
2 123 CGM
3 123 CNF
4 123 ENC
5 123 PIC
6 123 TMP
7 123 WK1
8 123 WK3
9 123 WKS
10 123 WR1
11 123 WRK
12 DOKUMENT
But when typing OA$L123_A1_DATA_LLV:L123A1_FILETYPE_TBL.DAT, I see no
DOKUMENT (Document in Danish) but only a DOCUMENT record.
In form L123A1_FILETYPE_TBL, neither DOKUMENT nor DOCUMENT seem to be
available file types. If I select one of them, all fields except the
key field remain blank, and I get a "Record not on file" message.
If I attempt to add DOKUMENT or DOCUMENT as a record, I get a message:
duplicate key detected (DUP not set).
I have added an AAA File Type in form L123A1_FILETYPE_TBL, but it also
does not get recognized when doing /Print File.
Lotus 1-2-3 File Types
File type: AAA
Format: STANDARD ASCII
DSAB: ASCII
File extension: .TXT
Description: tekstfil

Could someone please help me with this?
