| ALL-IN-1 seems to work just with Wave3. In fact, I am writing
this using ALL-IN-1 V3.1 BL90 on node DEC:.fno.veli running also
OpenVMS T6.1-5Y3.
And my problems with installing ALL-IN-1 onto this system already
running Wave3 and OpenVMS T6.1 were almost completely due to my
desire to run DEC Notes T2.5 (now V2.5).
But those linking problems have been solved even for ALL-IN-1
V3.0A and I am happy owner of single user ALL-IN-1 system.
Most application used to break on DECnet/OSI environment due to
their desire to use NCP command language to define objects etc.
Now that Wave3 has very solid NCP emulator built in, most OSI
non-aware applications install and work just fine on Wave3
environmens IF YOU REMEMBER TO GRANT NET$MANAGE to SYSTEM account
prior installation.
Major problem used to be the fact that Mailbus did not support
DECnet/OSI environment. I believe that is past now though Mailbus
people very specifically require at least Wave3, i.e. either
DECnet/OSI V5.6 on OpenVMS V5.5-2 or DECnet/OSI V5.7 (still in
FT) on OpenVMS V6.0 or later.
best regards, Veli

| Don,
As i've said before the support/non-support issue is NOT an ALL-IN-1
question but a MAILbus question.
The STARS article
203-ALL-IN-1 IOS V3.0 Not Supported on DECnet/OSI Wave 2
explains all and is reproduced in its entire glory in note 1842
as a search would have shown!
but the question was also brought up in notes 3604, 3430...
