Have there been any changes to the CXP subsystem since V2.4? I've been looking through the CXLIB.OLB, and found that in past versions, there was an object module called CXP$DIAL_NUMBER, which no longer appears the in ALL-IN-1 V3.object library. Can anyone shed any light as to what happened to this module, as in, was it replace, and if so, by what, etc. Thanks, Doug

Doug, The object modules CXDIAL (including routine CXP$DIAL_NUMBER) and CXGLOBAL were moved into the OALIBR and SITEOALIBR object libraries. This was because these modules are customisable (the sources are in the kit). If they are changed using CM, the modified version is placed in SITEOALIBR, with the version in OALIBR remaining as the SSB version. This then provides the option to link 'Nocustom' using the SSB versions from OALIBR. It was decided to place all the language dependant customisable modules in SITEOALIBR rather than have site versions of each object library. Regards, Martin. |
