3726.0. "Shared Drawer and Foldername beginnig with EINGANG" by ZUR01::WORK19::BURKHALTER (Rolf Burkhalter @RLE) Tue Jan 04 1994 15:42

Hi all

One of our customers noticed the following problem which I think is
a bug in the German version of ALL-IN-1 V3.0.

If you try to create a document in a shared drawer (where you are
not the owner) and the foldername starts with EINGANG (the INBOX
foldername in German), for example foldername EINGANGSPRUEFUNG, the
document will not be created and you receive the following error
message (GOLD-W):

%OAFC-I-CARDIDNF, File Cabinet object does not exist
%OA-I-LASTLINE, Das Dokument kann nicht zur Bearbeitung aufgerufen
werden.
%OA-I-LASTLINE, Es wurde kein Dokument erstellt.

But if you name the folder EINGANG the document will be created as
expected.

Have you ever seen this problem, is it known in the engineering
group or should I open a IPMT?

Thanks for any reply

Rolf

    Rolf,

There were a few problems regarding the INBOX and shared drawers, but
all of them were introduced in V3.0-1.

These problems were subsequently resolved by ICF-9, and also by the
Manditory Update Patch (MUPA, or V3.0A).

Check the version again ( <get oa$version), I suspect your system is
    V3.0-1.

    Let me know...

    Kevin.

Kevin,

Thanks for your reply, but I reproduced this behaviour on our
system where the MUPA is installed (<get oa$version = ALL-IN-1 V3.0A).
ICF-9 is not installed.

Thanks again

Rolf
3726.3In that case, I say bug it.IOSG::STANDAGETue Jan 04 1994 16:1310

    Rolf,

If it's reproducable with MUPA installed then please report the
problem, as I don't think this one is known about.

    Thanks for the extra info,
    Kevin.

    Hi,

When you bug it some extra information is that it is not a German
specific problem, but can also be seen on English systems if, for
example, you try to create a document in a shared drawer with a folder
    name of INBOXTEST.

    Cheers

    Stuart
