3686.0. "ALL-IN-1 Starter 3.0 FCS limit of about 16 Drawer" by VNOAPP::TIMA_204410 (Marianne SCHNABEL @AUI /CSC Wien) Tue Dec 21 1993 09:38
Problem:
Cluster with 3 Nodes, ALL-IN-1 Starter 3.0 started on all nodes
but only two nodes are used by users.
The FCS Process hangs if a certain amount of drawers is opened (can be determined
by looking at MSC Manage Server Clients to a number of 16) Opening the 17th drawer
causes the FCS to hang.
FCS is tuned by customer with Management Guide parameters.
Entries in Server Logifile:
%MCC-E-ALERT_TERMREQ, thread termination requested , Message:SERVTIMEOUT
Sysman; reveive alert to terminate thread
%MCC-E-EXISTENCE_ERROR, object does not exist.
%MCC-E-FATAL_FW, Framework condition.
I got also following infos from customer:

Restarting the Server fixes the problem until the next drawer connnections are made.
I have also accounting information of the process if needed.
Note also entered in A1_GY_SUPPORT.
Thanxx for Info

Increase DECnet Maximum Links to 200 fixed the problem.
