ALL-IN-1 V2.4 A customer recently (several months back) created a new mail area (he already had two). He has an RSF housekeeping procedure which runs weekly. He has noticed that the procedure does not "touch" this newly created area, though it does "touch" his two other areas.. The next run is scheduled for this coming weekend. I couldn't find any referrence to this problem. On a hunch, I have suggested that he resubmit (from MHP) a new RSF job since the RSF job now on his queue was created before he created the new mail area, and perhaps it needs to be recreated in order to pick up this new area. Thanks, Cb.

We found the problem. It appears that for some as yet unknown reason he had an old copy of oa$shared_daf_master.dat in the oa$site_data area. The copy in the site area contained referrences two the three previously created mail areas, but not for the new one. The RSF was picking up this file. Thanks, Cb. |
