3608.0. "starter and CDA v2?" by SCAMIN::BROWN (Strange Days Indeed....) Tue Nov 30 1993 22:09

Hi,

I think the answer to this is no, but I need to verify. Can ALL-IN-1 starter
have the CDA Converter Library integrated in as described in note 1036?
Or, could you integrate Keypak?

help is always appreciated,

As far as I know, you should be able to add any CDA converters to
ALL-IN-1 STARTER. ALL-IN-1 STARTER retains the CDA mechanism of full ALL-IN-1,
so any version of the converter library should work.

The only problem you have is that there is no CM in STARTER, so any changes
required to ALL-IN-1 modules (I don't know if there are any; I wouldn't have
thought so just to upgrade the converter library - maybe one of my colleagues
can shed more light on this) would have to be done manually.

    jackie,

bear in mind also the 'political' situation surrounding CDA v2 and
*any* ALL-IN-1 v3.0 system (including STARTER) - see note 2034 for
    much heavy discussion.
