ALL-IN-1 3.0-1
If you log into ALL-IN-1 and immediately do WP Index and Tab to the
creation date, you find you cannot enter -1W (to represent today minus 1
week). It says :-
Invalid date or date command entered
You can in fact enter TOD-1W but you did not have to do this in the
previous version.
Customer feels this is a problem with calendar initialisation as if you
do TM EV it will then allow you to go back to WP I and enter -1W in the
creation date without error.
His workaround was to put CAL SET DATE TODAY in the oaini.scp but he finds
that this seems to open the filecabinet which causes housekeeping procedures
like TRM to fail (because the MANAGERs filecabinet is open).
He was wondering if there were any other clever ideas as to how to
get around this and why it has changed in the new version ? (He is aware
that he could probably put a CAL SET DATE TODAY on a pre-function but is
this really necessary ?)
Thanks,
Clive

The same problem is present in the EM subsystem as well. If you
want to use dates in any subsystem (EM, WP, SM, etc), you've got
to initialize TM first. Modify the named data for each subsystem
to include the following two functions, somewhere in the /PRE:
CALENDAR INITIALIZE FILES
CALENDAR INITIALIZE MONTH
