Problem in WPSPLUS to ASCII/TEXT Conversion (Multi-column text)
There is a defect in ALL-IN-1 WPSPLUS to ASCII/TEXT converter.
When a WPSPLUS document having multi-column text in it is
converted to ASCII/TEXT, first column appears at correct
position but further columns are not position correctly.
For example a document with two column text when converted
to ASCII/TEXT would be seen like this:
---first column first line---
...
...
...
---first column last line ---
---second column first line---
...
...
...
---second column last line ---
Where as CDA WPSPLUS to ASCII/TEXT converter converts multi-column
text document file correctly.
All MAILbus gateway products MRGATE, MR/S, MR/P and MRX use
ALL-IN-1 converter libraries to convert WPSPLUS documents to
ASCII/TEXT. The users/customers of these gateways will
complaint about this defect. It will be quite important to
MAILbus product gateway teams to know what action ALL-IN-1
WPS-PLUS development team is going to take to fix this defect.
This will help us to mention the conversion restriction. Also,
it will be appreciated if you could let us know any work
around for this defect.
