3452.0. "Remote ALL-IN-1 process uses IOCHANNELs up." by EWBV51::NAGURA (Yukiji Nagura /ALL-IN-1 CSC/Tokyo/Japan) Tue Oct 26 1993 07:22
Hi,
I can't find any similar topics in this conference.
Reading ALL-IN-1 mail messages after $ SET HOST, the process used
up CHANNELCNT and finally mail contents disappeared from MAIL%%%%.BLP.
"SDA> show proc/chan" shows a lot of channels connected with RTAn:.
Error messages aren't displayed when reading, but the error message
can be observed by issuing "<for format do get .%key" or some other
operations on FORMAT.DAT.
This problem occurs both V2.4/Japanese and V3.0A/Japanese. I don't
have ALL-IN-1/US at hand. I'll CLD this if this is a new problem and
also on original US version.
Once I tried to raise CHANNELCNT, but it just increased the number
used by a remote ALL-IN-1 process and made it longer to happen.
Yukiji, CSC/Tokyo
