Hi, Has anybody done such customisation on GPC, ie: To highlight/display that there are unseen notes topics when users sign-on to ALL-IN-1, just like those of EM new mail and TM's meeting waiting? Thanks for any info. Regards, lee

re: .0 You can get that information from the OAN$ENTRY data-set after perfrming the NOTES INITIALIZE function. A couple of issues you would need to consider: 1) Which entries/conferences are you interested in? I.e. if the user has 20 entries in the notebook how would you display the unseen counts of all of them (a separate form?)? 2) How do you want the notebooks updated? Some people do this in batch jobs but it would still not be completely up-to-date and is difficult to manage. Alternatively you could update the conferences when logging into ALL-IN-1 but it would slow down the process. Hope this helps, John |
