3426.0. "SQL program executed from ALL-IN-1" by EWBV51::NAGURA (Yukiji Nagura /ALL-IN-1 CSC/Tokyo/Japan) Thu Oct 21 1993 10:32
Hi,
I'm at a loss having a very very complicated problem.
A customer wrote a SQL program in COBOL, INSTALLed and EXECUTEd in
ALL-IN-1/Japanese V2.4. The program has saveral modules in separate
files (i.e. shareable images), and in each module DECLARE ALIAS
FILENAME statement issued with no DISCONNECT at end. The problem
is that EXEC SQL SELECT returns SQLCODE -1033 (relation not reserved
in transaction ERROR) after the second DECLARE ALIAS.
I'm completely ignorant of SQL and I don't think this is an ALL-IN-1
problem, but similar programs invoked from DCL can run successfully.
Are there any differences between AIMed image activation (termination?)
and simple $ run image execution ?
VMS V5.5-1, Rdb V4.1, ALL-IN-1 V2.4 (K604)
