3371.0. "Event Invitation Blues" by GIDDAY::BURT (Plot? What plot? Where?) Fri Oct 08 1993 08:20
Hello and Greetings,
More Time Management stuff.
ALL-IN-1 V3.0-1
Scheduler send Event invitation to recipients. 1 Recipient says "No" to
invitation, and doesn't mark it on his/her calendar.
Scheduler then Edits the event, and changes the time. The Recipient of the
invitation who said No, and did not mark her/his calendar does not get a
second invitation. Those who say No, but mark their calendars, DO get a second
invitation.
The customer doesn't like this behaviour. Wants to know if
a) It is 'fixable'
b) Fixed in a PFR
One other interesting point. After an Event with attendees is scheduled, an
invitaion recipient Reads the invitation, and an attendee form is displayed.
On the form

Can you attend? Yes Comment:
If the default value of Yes is cleared, and no other valid value is placed in
the field, the ability to respond at all is lost. Perchance this field should
be made mandatory?
