3369.0. "Event Edit - Gold K" by GIDDAY::BURT (Plot? What plot? Where?) Fri Oct 08 1993 05:56

Hello and Greetings,

Customer is running ALL-IN-1 V3

When editing an existing event, and adding comments, doing a Gold K, customer
finds that the Gold K, while cancelling the comment, does not cancel the
changes to the meeting.

Is this expected behaviour? If so, can it be modified.

The customer believes that the event change should also be cancelled by the
Gold K.

Thanks for any/all hints.

3369.1Work around? Seems to be a function doing this.NEWVAX::MZARUDZKII AXPed it, and it is thinking...Thu Mar 10 1994 20:4410

I'd like to revisit this. Is there a patch or work around I can
implement to give correct behavior? I believe this was logged some time
ago as a "bug", coming from cal schedule function.

    -Help, and thanks IN advance.

Dependent upon your point of view, this is correct behavior.
As this is documented behavior, your request is not a "bug", but a
request to change current functionality. There is no patch for
        any current version of ALL-IN-1.

The CALENDAR SCHEDULE MEETING function, by itself, does not allow
the user to edit the mail message. This is strictly a named data
        correction, and a big one.

FWIW we have changed this in the PFR (now in Field Test), so that GOLD
K will cancel the whole thing. To achieve this we had to make changes
in BLISS code modules as well as scripts.

    Cheers
