Hi,
ALL-IN-1 v2.4 with patch K603
The customer has the following problem (similar to note 715, but not quite
the same), when running TRM. The customer had a managers account which was
never used, and when TRM they recieve the error
Error reading record from managers docdb.dat
Error of unknown cause
Error=? Record/Bucket locked
on Phase 1 when reading the managers account. We added in a new docdb.dat
and daf.dat from oa$lib, created a few documents successfully, and then ran
PT. This ran through successfully. When trying to run TRM again though,
they got the same error.
He does not have any *fcvr* images in site_lib, and no other housekeeping
jobs were running at the same time. The customer can log into the managers
account without any errors, and there is no diskquotering enabled on this
volume. There are also no version limits on the ALLIN1 or MGR directory. I
have asked the customer to delete the TRM job and reschedule it, but I do
not see how this would help him.
I have tried running TRM while the managers account is logged on, or
spawned out to a sub-process, and I cannot reproduce the problem. Below are
the customer *fcvr* files in oa$lib. Does anyone have any ideas?
I only have a standard 2.4 system with no patches - can someone check if
all files are present with correct date for me?
Thanks,
Julie

This sounds like the same problem, I found this in STARS.
STARS ARTICLE TITLE:
FCVR Randomly Gets Bucket/LOCKED Error Reading User's DOCDB.DAT
The problem is that when running FCVR via the TRM option on accessing
random user accounts the error RECORD BUCKET/LOCKED occurs when FCVR
tries to access the user's DOCDB.DAT file.
This problem has be tracked down to be caused by running the version of
the FCVR image supplied by patch kit K504 instead of the image supplied
by K536.
The patch kit provided the image into the wrong directory,
OA$SITE_LIB_LLV instead of OA$LIB_SHARE. Removing the copy in
OA$SITE_LIB_LLV should clear the problem.
Hope this helps,
Faith Donohue

Hello,
Can anyone help me with this problem, as it is still occuring, and the
customer has not been able to run TRU or TRM for quite a while now.
They have the TRU job running at 16:00 on Sunday, and TRM at 23:00, and
both jobs fail with the
Scanning user MANAGER'S File Cab at 23:36pm
-------------------------------------------
Error reading record from MANAGER's DOCDB.DAT file
Error of unknown cause, error =?Record/bucket locked
during phase 1.
The customer has run show device/files before the TRU job was run, and
the only files in the ALLIN1 directory that was open was;
mailcount.exe, oa$main.exe,oa$submit.exe,lngspleng.exe,
memres.flc,oaform.flc,sitememres.flc,siteoaform.flc,a1txl.txl,
cmtxl.txltmsv.exe and oafcv.exe
There are no [allin1.mgr] files open.
The customer did find that one TRM job did get as far as phase 3 (the
failed for a different reason), but ever since then it has failed every
time with the above error on phase 1.
From note 715 as well, it would seem that there is a problem here, but
it sometimes goes away. Could anyone come up with some ideas for me - I
am not sure what to suggest yet!
Thanks,
Julie
