Hi,
Customer has a question on ALL-IN-1` 3.0 - currently, the memory is
168mb. The system is maxed out most of the time (90-95 usage). The
question is when this site upgrades to 3.0 (early next year) how much
more memory per user does ALL-IN-1 3.0 require (if any).
TIA ! Ann

Yes V3.0 will use more memory. This has been estimated at 8% overall.
However high memory usage does not necessarily indicate shortage of
memory - a high page fault rate is a better indicator and the memory
management facilities in OpenVMS V5.4-3 and beyond allow you to make
better use of what memory you have.
For more information look at the Performance and Configuration Guide
available at MRKTNG::USERG:[ASEPG]ASEPC.PS or from VTX BOSS.
