3305.0. "Archive housekeeping reports errors but no error in logfile" by BUSHIE::SETHI () Tue Sep 21 1993 06:18

    Hi All,

A customer is running ALL-IN-1 IOS 3.0 (unpatched) and is having a problem
with the Archive housekeeping procedure. An EM is sent to the Manager
reporting an error, with the following text:

Archive housekeeping procedure run report 19-Sep-1993 11:02pm
There were errors in the archive housekeeping procedure run. The log
file for this run : xxxxxx Please investigate before running this
    procedure again.

I have examined the ARCHIVE_SM.LOG..... files and it has reported no
errors reported. The logfile can be found on :
    		RIPPER::USER$TSC:[SETHI]WESTPAC.LOG

I have asked a couple of people here to have a look at the logfile and
we cannot see anything wrong. Can someone shed some light on this for
    me ?

    Thanks,

    Sunil

    Hi All,

I have found a solution to this problem and it was in Stars all along,
article "ALL-IN-1 V3.0: Archive Procedure (ADS) Always Sends Failure
Message". The OA$DO:ARC_PROCESS_FOLDER.SCP needs to be changed see the
    article for further details.

Some how my star gazing the first time around was not too good, I must
get a new telescope or see at least see an optician !!!!

    Regards,
