3242.0. "Time Management problem" by GIDDAY::BURT (Plot? What plot? Where?) Tue Sep 07 1993 06:46

Hello and greetings,

Customer running ALL-IN-1 V3.0 with WordPerfect integration.

Customer reports that one user who receives a tm invite ends up with their
screen "going crazy" (customer's description)

User cannot print PWE and cannot use also other print options in TM. Nor can
the user use VIEW.

Tried renaming & recreating .pst - no difference.
Doing a TRU made no difference.

I have a trace available on
MSOTIS::DKA300:[BURT.PUBLIC.ALL-IN-1]Q82183.TRACE;1.
(I couldn't find anything really exciting in it)

A user invites user SGIRVAN by TM EV C. She answers Y and does not add
comments. When she executes TM EV I, the screen looks like the
following dump. She does logout and goes in again. TM EV I works 100% and ALL
events schedulled. The problem does not appear to be 100% reproducable for the
user - but is very frequent.

The KOR for most entries in the .A1CAL file is trash. Verify this
        with <FOR CAL$CALENDAR DO PROMPT .CAL_KEY
When your date is an escape sequence or a text string, the actual
date value returned won't be correct.

    Hi Dave,

Looks like the KOR was corrupted as I could not read more than 2
records. I looked at the .A1CAL file in the TPU editor but found
nothing to suggest that the file was corrupted.

The user did not have too many entries and I have suggested that the
customer re-creates the .A1CAL file using the fdl as mentioned in your
    reply.

    Regards,

    Sunil

PS - Nice to meet you again
