When developing an application you need to be carefull not to leave any
bolded blank areas on an FMS screen. When PC emulators see this, they
usually change the color of the bolded area.
However this is NOT evident on a DECwindows terminal where there is no
REVERSE-SCREEN mode (to my knowledge) on a DECterm. Is there any way to
see these 'bold blanks' from DECwindows?

Colin,
There probably is a way to do this in a DECterm. Not many people
round here know about it though! For this reason most ALL-IN-1
developers keep an old VT220 on their desks to check their forms
before submission. I probably have one of the oldest functioning
Rainbows here for just that purpose. :-)

p.s. don't forget to bold one space either side of your form titles!
