3168.0. "FC server errors - SPR ?" by HAN::FISCHER_HE () Thu Aug 19 1993 16:29

    Hi,
    at a customer site with max. 80 concurrent users and about
    70 shared drawers (most of them have more than 50 ACE's) we
    are observing once a week an stop/disable state of the FC
    server. We made all the quota settings which are mentioned
    in the TIMA database and in this conference and got it running
    a little bit more stabil (less error logging) but there are
    still situations where to stop and restart it (users getting
    the message that the drawer is locked):
    Should we set the SPR or is there a big chance to get it solved
    by the announced MUPA? Would you advice to write a job which
    periodically stops and starts the FC server in order to prevent
    quota and locking problems?
    regards
    Heinz Fischer (HAN::FISCHER_HE)
