3128.1 | it's a bug | FORTY2::ASH | Mail Interchange Group, Reading | Wed Aug 11 1993 14:44 | 9 |
| Not so much an imposed restriction as a bug! Unfortunately, it's all bound up
with the flow during message delivery, and to make it work would require a
large amount of code-restructuring.
I would hope that the restriction could be removed as part of the development
going on at the moment - it's certainly a good feature to be able to set AR
and AF.

3128.2 | I've been there too... | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Wed Aug 18 1993 10:36 | 5 |
| I spent about a week hacking through the code during V2.2 development,
and I couldn't work out how to make them both work together, so I
turned the bug report into a restriction...

3128.3 | Or use Personal Assistant? | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Wed Aug 18 1993 10:37 | 3 |
| Of course you can always use APA to produce AR and AF.

3128.4 | Alpha - who said that | SUBURB::BROWNSTONE | Out to lunch | Wed Aug 18 1993 17:41 | 8 |
| Thanks Gents,
APA was my recommendation too, trouble is we can only afford to run it
out of hours....
Never mind, roll-on Alpha

3128.5 | Been a restiction since at least v2.0 | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | U.S.A 2 England 0 - I was there! | Mon Aug 30 1993 06:33 | 7 |
| maybe i misread the last bit of .4 but I don't think this is going to be
in the PFR unless you're expecting the mail code to get much quicker
by magic (see discussion of mail strategy in A1INFO)

Andrew.D.Wicks (who also looked at that code once or twice)
