A customer tries to send mail from ALL-IN-1 to Internet, but gets a nondelivery notification from MRGATE: Delivery of this message through the Gateway had the following results: NODE::"internetaddress", - invalid address Where do come from? - And how do we get rid of ? -- In ALL-IN-1 the customer had addressed the mail like this: TO: "internetaddress"@NODE@MRGATE It is ALL-IN-1 v3.0 and Message Router v3.2. I have the same versions here, but I don't have that problem. The customer is running ALL-IN-1 in a DECterm window on a Digital workstation. From VMSmail mail goes fine through to NODE::"internetaddress". Elin

3114.2 | fixed in MRGATE | FORTY2::ASH | Mail Interchange Group, Reading | Mon Aug 09 1993 18:43 | 7 |
This has been answered in MAILBUS, note 1818. It's a problem MRGATE had with handling quotes in the address, and it's fixed in S3.2-002. (It does help when noters state that they are posting questions in other conferences - please try to do so) grahame |
