This problem is very easy to reproduce, simply create a file with escape sequences using EDIT and CTRL 3 3. Something like: <ESC>#3 Hello <ESC>#4 Hello Hello this is a test..... Then from within ALL-IN-1, create a new document, GOLD G the VMS file in. The escape sequences are represented as a graphics block. Then save the file and read or print it. In V2.4 it displays or prints the word 'Hello' in double height text, but in V3.0 it does not. The customer would like this functionality, but having upgraded it appears to have been removed. Why was it removed and how can he get it back.... Thanks in advance., Richard Simpson.

Have a look at Note 1039.0 Also, there may be some SPR answers in STARS on this subject - there have been enough SPR's on it! As a personal view, I think it was crazy to change the functionality especially without leaving the option of the old behaviour but I don't expect it will be changed back. Paul. |
