3062.0. "Setting WPS-PLUS Reading/Writing Environment" by ZPOVC::CHIKLIAK () Mon Jul 26 1993 13:00

    Hi,

Customer is using All-IN-1 V3.0. Customer wants to know which file(s) he
can change and what steps need to be taken so that whenever a new user
is added, automatically their Editing/Reading environment is set to
10 to 70 rather than by default 0 to 80. The customer are using
    WPS-PLUS.

Is this the correct conference, or do I have to enter this on WPS-PLUS
    conference.

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi CT,

Been there and done it already years ago :-). As Graham said copy the
WPSDEF.WPL from <disk>:[ALLIN1.LIB_SHARE.USER] and change the settings
than copy it back. You cannot alter it from CM the last time I looked.

I don't understand the bit about editing/reading. Firstly if you get
your margins in ruler 0 the default ruler to your desired settings,
when you go into the editor you will have the correct margins set. As
to reading the only thing you can set is Read screen wide to display in
132 columns rather than 80. If you set your margins to 10 and 70 you
should not need to change to wide screen. If you want wide screen as
the default you can change the templates for accounts creation. It's
all in the manual or goto the SM DTC option and look at a template.

    Regards,

    Sunil
