has anyone ever used these printers before? the users have packard

the site printer record for PORT has:
Format Printer Type: LP11
Destination Printer Type: PORT
the printer type record for PORT has:
Foreground function: DO WPPPORT
Background function:
Printer Device: LP11
Print Form:
i've had them try using PORT LA50 and PORT LA75, the printing seems to
get further, but the messages are triple spaced.
thanks for listening! -ann

It looks like data is being sent to the printer faster than it can handle it. Is flow control enabled on the printer port and/or the printer? Richard

there did not know about ALL-IN-1! they said the printer emulates an
EPSON LX800.
re .1 - i'll cross post my note there

Flow control has to be enabled on the printer port and in the printer. The methods for setting flow control are specific to the PC and its terminal emulation software and the STAR NX 1000. You could also try sending the data to the printer at a slower baud rate. Richard
