With reference to notes #141.*, 160.* and 2162.*, I have found a total of 17 duplicate entries in the A1TXL areas at one customer site. The only ones I am really concerned about are: SHOW_LIPS.BLP (which is already discussed in 141.*) CVTWPLDTIF.SCP (which has entries in both OA$DO_ENGLISH and OA$DO_SHARE within CM base) DOCSELECT.SCP (in which both versions are different between OA$DO_ENGLISH and OA$DO_SHARE) WPMDMP.SCP (Which has records in both areas in CM base, and each version is different) My question is: how do I know which is the correct file for DOCSELECT.SCP, and WPMDMP.SCP? Doug

Doug, the best check is the date - a date around 12-Mar-1992 indicates the element comes from the SSB kit for v3.0. I show DOCSELECT living in OA$DO_SHARE: on my system but my memory tells me that WPMDMP.SCP should actually not exist at all since it harks back to the old MD and MP options which were phased out yonks ago. regards, Andrew.D.Wicks |
