Hi,

Customer has a very confusing and strange problem.

ALL-IN-1 V3.0-1 Dutch

ALL-IN-1 manager wants to select a drawer.

SM MFC MD SEL

Drawer owner: KACZM32 --> and press Find.

Result: two drawers both with name [KACZM32]BASIS   (BASIS is dutch for MAIN).

However option IAD and a search through OA$DATA_SHARE:PARTITION.DAT results only
ONE [KACZM32]BASIS drawer.

Removed the drawer (option REM)
Select drawer again (no such drawer)
Seed the drawer again: <get #oafc_seed_user = "KACZM32"
                       <do oa$lib:oafc$part_seed
Select the drawer again, result two drawers both with name [KACZM32]BASIS

uh, mumble, ..........

	Martin, I believe we have this logged in our bug database, but I have not been able to reproduce it here... Are there any significant problems caused by this 'ghost drawer', or is it just confusing/annoying to see? Kevin.

	Hi Kevin, Re your reply .3, I would be interested in getting a description of the bug. I have a customer who is experiencing the same problem in a clustered environment. A user has two entries for the MAIN drawer and two for a shared drawer. We have had problem with the GMA (grant Mail Access) option in that it hangs the users seesion. We made a copy of PARTITION.DAT (backup/ignore=interlock) and searched for the drawers there was only one entry. When we are in Manage Drawer option and we select the user we see two entries. The ghost entry exits for a number of users. The customer would not have discovered the ghost drawers but for the GMA option hanging. I wonder if this is just a coincedence that the GMA option hung or was it caused by the ghost drawer ? The user is still having problem with the GMA option. Regards, Sunil

	Hi, For the record the problem has been found, and the supernatural can in this case be eliminated! The code problem is in the PART$MAINT data set and that will hopefully be fixed in the PFR. There is a workround by customising OAFC$DRAWER_RECOG.SCP to change the line .DRAWER_OWNER ENS #OAFC_OWNER DO - to .DRAWER_OWNER = #OAFC_OWNER DO - Performance of this option will greatly improve in this case as well.
