2894.1 | Just curious? or something else | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | U.S.A 2 England 0 - I was there! | Mon Jun 21 1993 20:21 | 10 |
| David,
Why?
V2.2 is as I'm sure you know long retired so I can't be sure but I don't
recall the file changing since v2.0

My customer is running ALL-IN-1 V2.4 on multiple nodes and V2.2 on a
small uVAX. I am just curious...

2894.3 | Zippers? | BRUMMY::MARTIN::BELL | Martin Bell, NTCC, Birmingham UK | Tue Jun 22 1993 16:25 | 8 |
| If i remember correctly, somewhere between the two versions, and possibly
in the UK only version, a couple of fields got "swapped" accidentally
(i think while changing Zip Code to Post Code), and some fix had to be
applied when upgrading.
Aside from the "swap", i think that the rest remained the same.

2894.4 | English dialect of American bug! | AIMTEC::WICKS_A | U.S.A 2 England 0 - I was there! | Tue Jun 22 1993 17:30 | 11 |

Martin,
It was only in the U.K (and in only in England I suspect since Welsh
Scottish and Irish would have been languages not dialects of AMerican)
It's in STARS.

2894.5 | $ CMS SET LIB.... | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Tue Jun 22 1993 18:40 | 8 |
| David,
If you are more than curious (and can we quote you on that? :-) ) I can
pull the two versions of the forms out of CMs and you can check.
Unfortunately I don't have acess to the V2.2 British kit, so if that's
what you've got...

2894.6 | | GLDOA::FINKELSTEIN | | Tue Jun 22 1993 20:28 | 7 |
| I was hoping that this was an easy question to be answered. Thanks for
everyone's response. I'll ask the customer for accounts on both
ALL-IN-1 systems and compare the record layouts. It will take longer
than checking the source code, but now I'm more than just curious...

2894.7 | Good Idea to check at the "source" :-) | IOSG::PYE | Graham - ALL-IN-1 Sorcerer's Apprentice | Wed Jun 23 1993 10:17 | 5 |
| Since there's obviously some cause for concern in someone's mind, then
you're right to check on the customer's system, in case some sort of
customisation has been done.
