Hello all!!! - Does anybody has already use DPCS 1.0 with ALL-IN-1 3.0 and how we have to proceed to use it ? - What is the restriction of DCPS 1.0 with ALL-IN-1 2.4 ? as describe in the release note DCPS is capable to detect what kind of data type is sent to the printer and convert those data to postscript, but when you try to print a EBD file created by ALL-IN-1 2.4 on the physical printer Declaser 1152 you will receive the following message : DCPS-W-CMDREMOVED and DCPS-PLUS License required ? The first DCPS error is concerning ESC sequence that can't be translated into POSTSCRIPT and the second DCPS error seems to be when we use a /PARAM qualifier ?? How can we print ALL-IN-1 2.4 file without having those messages.?? Thank for your help. David Blanchard@ZSW

Hello David, > - Does anybody has already use DPCS 1.0 with ALL-IN-1 3.0 and how > we have to proceed to use it ? Did some quick tests. Looks great. Used DECLASER table and OA$LIB:RENDITION.WPL. When the queue is setup for autodetect no special actions is needed in ALL-IN-1. Just a "normal" Site Printer. > - What is the restriction of DCPS 1.0 with ALL-IN-1 2.4 ? > as describe in the release note DCPS is capable to detect > what kind of data type is sent to the printer and convert > those data to postscript, but when you try to print a EBD > file created by ALL-IN-1 2.4 on the physical printer Declaser 1152 > you will receive the following message : > > DCPS-W-CMDREMOVED and > DCPS-PLUS License required ? > > The first DCPS error is concerning ESC sequence that can't be > translated into POSTSCRIPT and the second DCPS error seems to be > when we use a /PARAM qualifier ?? > > How can we print ALL-IN-1 2.4 file without having those messages.?? > Which printer tabel did you use ? /PARAM=data=auto requires DCPS-PLUS License Regards, Jan |
