VMS 5.5-2 - IOS 3.0-1

Printing a doc: WPL, ASCII or DIS(trib List) to a PS queue failed with error

	Error occurred during operation : CANNOT_OPEN_PROLOGUE_FILE

The print style used was PS with minor modification; also happening to other 
Dataproducts PS printer types.

It failed even with /NOCUSTOM mode.

The failed entries in OA$FORMATTER looked like

for a WPCORP file, almost identical print qualifiers

Translation of this msg number revealed

%SYSTEM-F-IVSECIDCTL, invalid section identification match control

which I haven't got around to look it up

The actual printer, a Dataproducts laser using Mac symbiont:

however, printing to TERMINAL destination with printer types: PS, PSPRINT and 
other PS types also failed with CANNOT_OPEN_PROLOGUE_FILE

Have collected the trace and will get on to it shortly

    Hi,
    
    I had the same problem at a customer site and I have found the following
    solution:
    
    The customer made a cleanup and deleted [...]*.ps
    
    But the file ALLIN1$DISK:[ALLIN1.PRINT]WPSPLUS.PS; is needed for
    PostScript Formating. Restore this file and the Formatting should work.
